Hands down, the guys loved this one!  In fact, they are raving about it!  Great Birthday gifts for men and women alike, but perfect for the guy that likes gizmos and gadgets, new electronic gadgets, or he just likes cool new gadgets and wants to be among the first to have them.   The Pulse  Livescribe Pen is better than an electronic pen, Further, it beat any other computer pens we looked at.  It would be an awesome gift for the pen collector, and is kind of like having a pen computer if you can imagine that and it’s both Mac and PC compatible.  It comes in both a 1 Gig ($150.00) and a 2 Gig capacity ($199.99) and is comfortable to hold and use.

The pen records everything you write in two ways.  It creates digital copies of everything you write by hand while at the same time recording audio which make it great for note taking whether in the classroom or in the office.  But wait, it gets better than that!  The Livescribe Pen goes one step further and links the two features together, so you can quickly access audio by just tapping parts of your notes. All of this is uploaded to your computer where the Livescribe software saves it and makes your notes fully searchable. If that’s not enough, it offers a calculator, translator, and a paper piano that plays a mini piano you draw on paper.
